I’m pleased to announce that one of my paintings is included in the latest issue of Philadelphia Stories. It appears alongside a few brief excerpts from Stripped, the flash fiction collection edited by Nicole Monaghan. But I’ll also paste it below for your viewing pleasure.

Wow, you ARE quite the “Renaissance Man”!
“Alignment”? As in an “harmonic convergence”?
Nice work–like it!
Yes! (Or something along those lines, anyway.) Glad you like it!
Nice work, Marc! You are quite talented.
I agree with Beverly.
Congratulations Marc.
Aunt Anna Marie
Beautiful and prophetic. Love it!
Looks good!
I don’t mean to be silly (yes I do), but the first thing I thought about was ‘too much mustard and not enough ketchup.’
Sorry, I know it’s a serious work. Nevertheless it got an immediate response from me. I do really like it. Anything that reminds me of hamburgers is good.
I think that’s definitely a legitimate interpretation!
I feel better, I wanted to be honest, but yet not insult.
I know what you mean… Half the time when I look at nonrepresentational art, I think, “What the heck is that? I like it, but what the heck am I looking at?” To me, it’s a bit like visual jazz. And, of course, personal taste is subjective.
Kudos!
Thanks to everyone for your kind words about my painting!
How wonderful! It’s stunning.
Congratulations!!!
🙂
Many thanks!
I did it! Especially the contrasting textures and colors.
Ugh! I DIG it. I could never stake claim to a painting like that. 😉
Ah! That definitely makes more sense. Thanks!
Congrats! That is a stunning piece. And to have it beside an excerpt–that’s is terrific. 🙂 Double congrats!
Glad you like it!
good to see this
