Continuing the “blue” theme I established last week, I was visiting my in-laws over the weekend and saw this beautiful tree swallow:
Coincidentally, I was reading through some of my favorite blogs later in the evening, and I saw the same type of bird at the top of a post on John Hyland’s blog, John’s Consciousness. A good omen, perhaps?

It’s so quietly pretty. In repose, a soft calm. Ponderance too perhaps. Forgive me, I suppose I’m rather moved by that picture. Lovely.
