What I’m Listening to This Morning

This one showed up in my YouTube feed this morning. I love the guitar tones, the crisp drums, and the joy in the singer’s voice.

Don’t much about the band other than that they’re from Norway and are on Steven Van Zandt’s Wicked Cool Records label.

Also in music news, Blue Dirt Girl has a new album out called Love Adjusted. Very clean production on this one. Great bass tone, especially on the opening track, “Love Adjusted.” And needless to say because it’s Blue Dirt Girl, the vocals and lyrics are both heartfelt and emotionally intelligent.

Also turns out that Western Jaguar has something new. Thanks to Jeff Archuleta for bringing it to my attention in the latest post from his Eclectic Music Lover blog! Nice 80’s sheen on this one. Coincidentally, Blue Dirt Girl and Western Jaguar are both from Vancouver.

  3. The Blue Diet Girl is on my TLT (to listen to – lol, does not roll trippingly) pile and their side project, Sight Curve, has a new one, too! Thank you for the heads-up on Western Jaguar, too!
