It’s only been six months, but it feels like years since I ended the #Tweetcore Radio Hour on AMS Radio. The show gave me the opportunity to discover a ton of great music that I now think of as “Classic #Tweetcore.” Bands like Voodoo Planet, Bottlecap Mountain, Matt Derda and the High Watts, Snap Infraction, Unlucky Mammals, the Kintners, and the Crabs come immediately to mind, as do solo acts like Matt Moran, Dino Dumuro, Brian Lambert, Neither Could Dylan, and the LaLaLettes.

With such a wealth of great music at my disposal, I decided to start a new show to highlight some of my favorite acts from the brief but glorious rein of the movement I like to call #Tweetcore. Starting tonight at 7:00 PM Eastern Time (and playing every Wednesday for the foreseeable future), I’ll be setting my #Tweetcore library to shuffle and playing a full hour of #Tweetcore Classics, which, appropriately enough, is the name of the show.
