Thanks to the Kintners!

Whenever I get a little free time, I head down to my basement and play some music. Sometimes it evolves into a song. And sometimes a couple of friends pitch into help out. Case in point, I recorded a song called “Pour One Out” a couple of weeks ago. It’s kind of downbeat and sad and wouldn’t fit in with the more upbeat power pop I make with DelCobras, so I sent the track over to Kelly Kintner to see if he had any ideas. And, boy, did he! In addition to a cool bass line, Kelly and his wife Keri provided amazing choir parts that brought the song to a whole new level. At some point, I’ll collect all of the songs I record on my own and make them available in a Dropbox folder, but for now, you can give “Pour One Out” a listen in this blog post from Kelly: “Pour One Out By Marc Schuster and Five Questions” or you can listen for it on AMS Radio.

  1. This is dynamite! Really powerful! I really like how the Kintner’s choir moves around in the stereo field.
