It took me a minute to realize that the image on the cover of Wink, the new LP from Gentle Hen, is literally a wink. I really love the bouncy, jangly tone of this album, and the lyrics strike a nice balance between thoughtful and playful.

Gentle Hen are all new to me. I have lots of time for jangly, melodic guitar-driven music. Their vocals are pretty decent as well. Nice!
I discovered them — or at least their singer, Henning Ohlenbusch — during COVID.
I like the name, btw. There was Gentle Giant and now we have Gentle Hen!
AMS just received a submission from them! Good stuff
Very cool! Would fit nicely in Marc’s Melange!
Absoutely! It’s been added to the Marc’s Melange bank as well.
